Hey Michelle!

I hope this message finds you in good health!

I wanted to send you a quick note about a new ULMS resource that can help the students or educators you may know who are heading back to school in King County.

Today was the first official day of school for the entire Seattle Public School district! Students have returned to in-person learning and can anticipate being in class and on school campuses 5 days a week for the rest of the 2021-2022 school year.

To help with the transition, my team has been working with the district to create some youth focused materials for both vaccine education, and to help share information about what students can expect this year to look like with the new safety guidelines in place.

Our goal is to ensure that as students and staff return to their classrooms this school year, they can do so in an environment that is safe and equipped with resources to protect their health.

Here is the link to our newly launched student hub: https://urbanleague.org/back-to-school/

On this page SPS students, parents, and staff can find an abundance of custom resources, including our new youth vaccine guide 'Young, Vaxxed, & Back to School!'

I hope these resources can be valuable tools for our students as we continue to navigate the ever-changing landscape of the pandemic.

Please let me know if you have any questions about this work or what we have planned to continue these efforts!

Until next time, stay safe and stay healthy!

Ashley
